Cookie policy

Cookies are portions of code installed inside the browser that assist the Controller in providing the Service in accordance with the purposes described. Some of the purposes for which Cookies are installed may also require the User’s consent.

When Cookies are installed on the basis of consent, this consent can be freely revoked at any time by following the instructions in this document.

Current legislation on the use of cookies
Articles 122 of the Code and 4(11), 7, 12, 13 and 25 of the Regulation: https://www.garanteprivacy.it/home/docweb/-/docweb-display/docweb/9677876

Cookies and other tracking tools
As a rule, cookies are strings of text that websites (so-called ‘publishers’ or ‘first parties’) visited by the user or different websites or web servers (so-called ‘third parties’) place and store in a terminal device available to the user (so-called ‘active’ identifiers).
Similar functions may be performed by other tools that, although using a different technology (so-called ‘passive’ identifiers), allow processing operations similar to those carried out through cookies.

Cookies and other technical identifiers
They are used for the sole purpose of “carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the contracting party or user to provide such service” (see Article 122, paragraph 1 of the Code).
They do not require the acquisition of consent, but must be indicated in the information notice.

Prime and third-party analytics cookies
They are comparable to cookies and other technical identifiers only if:
– they are used only to produce aggregate statistics and in relation to a single site or mobile app;
– at least the fourth component of the IP address is masked for those of third parties;
– the third parties refrain from combining analytics cookies, thus minimized, with other processing (customer files or statistics of visits to other sites, for example) or from passing them on to further third parties. Third parties are, however, permitted to produce statistics with data from multiple domains, websites or apps that can be traced back to the same publisher or business group.
The owner who carries out on its own the mere statistical processing of data related to multiple domains, websites or apps that can be traced back to it may also use the unencrypted data, subject to the purpose constraint.

Cookies and other tracking identifiers with a non-technical function
Used to trace specific actions or recurring behavioral patterns in the use of the offered functionalities (patterns) back to specific identified or identifiable individuals in order to group the different profiles within homogeneous clusters of different widths, so that it is also possible to modulate the provision of the service in an increasingly personalized manner, as well as to send targeted advertising messages, i.e., in line with the preferences expressed by the user in the context of web browsing.

This site may use ReCaptcha services to check whether data entry (such as in a contact or registration form) is made by a person or automated program in order to prevent misuse of the services provided. Use of ReCaptcha is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and Terms of Service (https://policies.google.com/terms).
